SUMMARY: This position is responsible for delivering the Tyson Foods retention program at this facility including supervisory management leadership and technical skills; developing procedures to best orientate new Team Members to the workforce; establish and maintain records of retention absenteeism and training progressions; supervise orientation trainers and production trainers to ensure a qualified workforce is achieved and maintained; establish and maintain standards that ensure the activities within area of responsibility are carried out effectively; become a certified instructor for achieve-global training; acquire a basic understanding of all skill sets for facility training positions; provide training direction and leadership for all training in the facility. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Experience: 3 plus years of training background. Supervisory background in a meat food plant environment preferred. Computer Skills: Good computer skills in Microsoft Excel Word and Power Point. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills; bilingual a plus. Special Skills: Ability to develop and implement programs procedures to enhance efficiencies within the facility and manage multiple departments areas.
