Certified Yoga instructor for classes at Morningside Urban Farm.   Responsible for organizing and presenting assigned group exercise classes. Instructs classes in accordance with established guidelines.  Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body as it relates to exercise and safety precautions. Uses correct technique as related to exercise. Maintains a fitness level appropriate for effective instruction. Projects a friendly and positive attitude and conducts oneself in a professional manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION:Basic knowledge of health and fitness is required.

EXPERIENCE:No experience required. 

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION:AHA BLS-HCP certification preferred. Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) required.  

OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Being able to get up in front of a group and instruct exercises in a confident manner.
