Job Description

The primary job responsibility is training and developing the sales force and assisting in the development of new hire and advanced curricula.

Responsibilities include field ride requirements with representatives in order to ensure new hires effectively transition into the organization, as well as assist with the strengthening of competencies of existing representatives.

The on-boarding and ongoing development of Multiple Sclerosis TBMs and field coaching days is a core function of the role. The RFST will be responsible for coordination across the West region with the Regional Business Directors and District Business Managers to ensure field training activities are aligned to overall Brand and Regional strategies.

Additional responsibilities include co-development and facilitation of POA meetings, Track 1 at home study certification of new hires in preparation for readiness of Track 2 classroom training and Track 3 Advanced Classroom training. The key areas of focus will include Selling Skills, Product & Disease State Knowledge, and Business of Multiple Sclerosis, Business Analytics, and providing verbal and written feedback to representatives.

The RFST will partner with key stakeholders to assess, design and deliver training solutions to meet the objectives identified by the brand. The RFST is a developmental role, which will allow the candidate to gain additional leadership skills to help prepare for future leadership opportunities.

The RFST will also be responsible for key home office projects and will be required to travel to Princeton Pike home office 2-3 days per month.

The RFST role is approximately 70% travel which includes field rides and travel to home office.

Qualifications - Internal

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience required, with 2 years in a Specialty Sales role preferred. Multiple Sclerosis/ sales or sales training experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Demonstrated strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, and develop, execute and adjust business plans. Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence network. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix teams. Demonstrated track record of developing self & others to drive and enhance performance. Demonstrated ability to coach others as well as receive and act upon coaching.

Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills, potentially including previous experience leading POA or Track Class Training Workshops. The ability to bring strong leadership, strong execution, and a winning mindset to the role. The ability to relocate is preferred. Ability to travel approximately 50-70% of the time is a requirement of the position. As this position requires operation of a Company-provided vehicle, offers of employment are contingent upon the candidate meeting the requirements of “Qualified Driver,” as determined by the Company in its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following: 1) at lWest 21 years of age; 2) a driver’s license in good standing issued by your state of residence; and, 3) a driving risk level deemed acceptable by the Company.
