Technical Support and Training Specialist ampndash

Profile

Schwabe is a leading Pacific Northwest law firm with seven offices across four states. We are currently seeking a Technical Support and Training Specialist to join our Seattle office. This role will help supporting our 375 users.

This position will work in a hybrid capacity with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Seattle office.

Responsibilities include:

Provide technical support to end-users on all firm’s hardware and software

Escalating issues to network technicians as needed

Answer phone calls, log calls in help desk ticketing system

Problem-solve computer and system issues with learners

Provides just-in-time training through floor support, phone calls and desk-side visits

Backup onboarding coverage for new hire technology orientations

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent customer service skills

Solid PC and networking skills relevant to a large business environment

Strong troubleshooting skills

Experience with remote access technologies and mobile devices

Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional ability to work with users of all skill levels

Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office

Ability to provide after-hours emergency support on a weekly rotating basis with other support staff

Travel to support other NW office locations on an as-needed basis

Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant IT experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Microsoft Office Specialist Certification preferred

A and Network preferred

Law firm or professional services experience preferred
