What's the best way to get a job as a teenager

I have been searching for a job for so long and I can\'t seem to get one. I have great grades and all but no one wants to hire me. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get a job? I would really like to save up some money before I go to college

I believe the best way to get a job as a teenager is to be proactive as possible. Firstly, start by going around different work places near you and show your face, give them a copy of your resume/curriculum vitae and eventually anyone can get a job that way. Or talk to people you know and ask if they know anyone who can help.

The best way in my opinion is to apply everywhere. Just go out one day and get forms from anywhere you would like to work at and start filling them out. Then sit back and wait a little bit for a call back. If nothing comes, try calling them and asking for the hiring manager so that you can ask him about your status so far.

Well the way I got my first job was to apply at many many many jobs. After that I would visit the boss or bosses of those jobs EVERYDAY. They got so tired of hearing from me that I had to pick between three different jobs and decided to take on two at once. Another good way is to go to craigslist and put out an add. Or post flyers areound your neighborhood for lawn mowing or babysitting. do a car wash with your friends, hot girls will get the cars rollin' in. and if all else fails and you still need a little cash to burn, have your mom sell something on ebay or go pawn something for you. When I was in Elementary School I used to draw pictured of Dragonball Z and other cartoons and sell them for a quarter.

Any time. Most just throw the application in a file and the manager checks em on the weekend when they're bored. I also have three years of college done, but no degree. And I do go out for those bs jobs also. sadly, I just can't seem to make a living wage. Even working two pt jobs. I'm still looking and applying.

Well keep your eyes open and keep checking online or in the local papers for job openings. Sometimes many jobs are known only by word of mouth so put in a word at local stores in your area. Most importantly be patient it surely pays.

The best way for a teenager to get a job put out lots of resumes. When you take your resumes to employers you need to have a neat and tidy appearance. You need to look enthusiastic, like you really want this job. And above all you must be willing to work what ever hours they need you for. This means giving up the hockey team, school dances, vacations with family, hanging out.

I suggest you do something you like. If you like electronics go try for a job at best buy. If you like pets go try for a job a petco.

I would run an ad in a local newspaper offering services such as babysitting, dog sitting, house sitting, etc. Have credentials and references available. You can even run an ad for house cleaning. You make pretty good money with house cleaning and can do it after school or on the weekends. Also, selling items on ebay would be a great way to work as a teenager. Although it is not a standard job, you can make it one. Visit local rummages and begin selling children's clothes - great resell on the internet. Good luck.

All of the jobs I got as a teenager were through people I knew. Ask any friends or family (or friends of friends, or friends of the family) in your area if the know of any jobs that are available. Chances are, someone you know knows someone that knows about a job, and they'll probably put in a good word for you. They might even be willing to put you to work themselves!

i suggest that if you are in need of money or you want to save money before you enter the college you should accept the job which is easily available for you of your interested field so that you get a bit of experience and you can also fetch money.later you can apply for a higher job on bases of your experience.
